By Car:
Exit the A1(M) at junction 4 take the first exit on the large (tescos) round-about down the hill towards Stanborough Park. Turn right at the bottom into Stanborough Road, past Police HQ on the right, take the first exit at the round-about (Gosling Sport Park) into Parkway. Stay on Parkway, across a small roundabout and while it forks past tree lined grass, right to it's end. Proceed round The Campus taking the second left into the entrance of Campus West.

By Train:
Welwyn Garden City is on the Kings Cross to Peterborough WAGN line. Roller City is at the opposite corner of The Campus to John Lewis . Just a 5 minute walk from the train and bus stations.

Roller City

13th August 1981 first saw skaters rolling at Campus West at a holiday skate session organised by Mrs Pam Dann in what was known as the "glasshouse". The Exhibition Hall closed in September 1989 for a £500,000 refurbishment. The refit included a Canadian maple wood floor, skate hire, raised spectator area, stunning lighting rig and dj booth. Roller City, Welwyn Garden City's purpose built rollerskating rink, opened it's doors in May 1990 to a sell out crowd of over 360 skaters.

• Dream Skate - 8.30pm-11pm - strictly over 18s, a licenced bar, great tunes

Private Skate Parties

Celebrate on skates at Roller City with a private party, where you'll be looked after by their excellent skate marshals and entertained by a DJ. There are two types of skate party, 'Sole Use', where the rink is exclusively for your celebration and 'Combined', for two parties of up to thirty guests each.
